Mango Lassi Protein Shake
Filling. Tangy. Tropical.
Okay, I’ve been influenced. Every article, podcast, former boss, and pilates instructor has been touting the benefits of consuming more protein. Apparently, it’s essential for building muscle mass, increasing metabolism, boosting the immune system, and blahblahblah. I take all this with a grain of salt because no component, ingredient, or product is the be-all for a healthy lifestyle. But whatever, because did I research and buy a 1lb container of vanilla whey protein powder? Yes, because I am trying to have some semblance of control over my life amid *gestures around* this.
Sorry, it really wasn’t my intention to trauma dump. So I’ll skip over how stress has taken my appetite, and that’s why I’ve turned to protein shakes in the first place. I will share that I did not know how to confidently spell protein until ten minutes ago.
