Looking back at this month, I feel like I didn’t consume a lot. I had a few firsts, like watching Mrs.Doubtfire and noshing at Chubbyfish & its new bar, The Seahorse. Their Smoked Olive Martini is 10/10, and that’s saying something because I don’t do vodka. I watched the Grammys and the Super Bowl for the first time in a long time, and neither was a disappointment. I even made wings, something I vowed never to do again after Beyoncé’s 2013 performance.

I feel like I accomplished less than I intended and experienced more than I expected. My goals for the month were to zero in on my job hunt and make time for morning walks. While I did whip up three resumes, I probably managed to get out of bed early enough, with enough motivation, for two walks. I was better at being social, which is my goal for the year since deciding to settle back in Charleston, SC. It also helps to know a very personable Leo who is connected with every industry in the city.
